Hate to be a Debbie Downer.......you need to be a member here to sell ANYTHING. Plus you need to post a price. Nice car.

Out of all fairness to Red1999996, he was doing me a favor since I have been the go between guy with PMs and email intros to get people connected...He was just trying to get rid of the middle man and save me some time. But your point is well taken.

No kidding . . best looking '99 c2 I've ever seen. Congrats on your paint care.

How about this one? No records available and came from Texas. Carfax shows it started out in Florida and was sold CPO in 2004 about one year after is was first titled. Has anyone here looked at this one already by chance?

I agree that while looking that I saw maybe 1 Aero kit car for every 20-25 non Aero cars. It seems like the vast majority of 996s for sale are cabs too.

I would say they're not rare enough to increase the value very much. It's certainly not a unicorn, but from my experience, finding an Aero car at a good price, in good shape, with the mileage you want, and with the options you want will be a bit of a search and almost definitely won't be local.

(When I say "you" that's a generic you. It's not specific to the things "you" want, but any buyer.)

Its easier to buy a 996 then buy the parts of the aero kit from second hand use. Such as a crashed gt3 or someone selling them on Craigslist. May take longer, but pretty much bolt on and doesn't take too long either to swap the parts.

I looked for a year for a 996 with no options

6 sod , orange. I wanted a light car. I feel that
Many Porsches are becoming too heavy
and too luxurious .
I I were going for optional body work, I'd only
Want (Factory).
Good luck

not easy to find the mk1 aero bumper in pristine condition (996-505-980-02-G2X-OEM) in the same color as your car. so i'd recommend you'd pay a bit more for that factory option rather than going after market. the fiberglass front bumpers are not as flexible as oem. enjoy the search.

I waited for an OEM taco to pop up. It was a piece of cake to swap out. They do come up on the forums a few times a year. Now I am on the hunt for OEM front bumper.

I have always liked MKI aero 996s. Definitely sets them apart from the regular 996s.

Question, has anyone ever put a MKI aero kit on a C4S with its wider hips? For some reason I think it would be a perfect fit.

Cheers,
