What specifically looks so bad about this? I've seen way worse kits. This looks pretty clean and toned done aside from the wing.

 

I don't find it particularly offensive, especially considering it's a Wicked kit; and their stuff is usually awful.

I actually really like those side skirts.

 

I find this only slightly offensive ... by Wicked standards, it is quite restrained. IMO this should earn the prospective owner no more than a stern glare, a shake of the head, and perhaps a gentle kick to the shins.

991 proportions are so off from the 996 chassis, why even try is my thought process on this one. For example, look at the trunk lid lines in accordance to the taillights. It's very disproportionate overall IMO. The front is elongated like a 991 but on the shortened and narrow 996 chassis. I guess to the casual observer, it will look like an awesome 991.

The 997 conversion is at least proportional so it isn't bad but I just think the 991 is too much off IMO. Wicked would be better if they concentrated on coming up with their own designs to actually enhance the 996/997 aesthetics instead of trying to make something it's not.

 

I agree, looks like a Q-tip. Fat on the ends and too skinny in the middle.

 

Guess I'm in the minority. I like it, very GT3ish.
