Clutch is toast. Time for a clutch and LN IMSB/AOS/RMS

I just did this.
I did LN Engineering IMS bearing, clutch, fallout bearing, preassure plate and slave sylinder. On older cars it was suggested also to change the clutch fork. Uncertain if that is still a part to replace now.

If I was near Albany or the Hudson I'd either look closer to the city for a shop or you will need to find an indy mechanic of good ability. This is just my opinion but I wouldn't bother with the dealer in CNY.

That's what I was thinking. I am gonna make some calls tomorrow and see what I come up with. My Pelican Parts shopping cart has a spec clutch, aos, and LN IMS and its onlt 1,200. I would imagine it should be around 10-15 hours labor so hopefully it wont be too bad. Fingers crossed!

For your LN, I'd say get the pro kit ($799) if it's applicable... And budget for a brake/clutch fluid change if it's been a while and you will probably have to do at least one motor oil/filter change.

I'd ask if it's cool to bring your own parts before springing that on a shop. Walking in the door with your own box of stuff is not quite as blunt as just saying, "I think you're a crook and you're trying to rip me off," but it doesn't seem far off...
