Default Time to say goodbye....

It's been fun for almost 8 years of 996 ownership, but the time has come. Tired of hearing about constant IMSB failures, oil debates, tire choices, maintenance intervals, and ... did I mention the headlights? I've decided on a new GMC that only has some minor ignition switch issues and some fire related problems that seem to be minor when compared to Porsche ownership. I've decided to sell my '99 996 for a fraction of its value even though it is running just fine. No more worries for me...

Come on Steve...say it ain't so. I'm on a exploratory drug going for FDA approval soon. It cures symptoms for bi-polar IMSbolism, makes you think it is ok to wear crocs, makes you see 20-20 again but makes your eyeballs turn yellow and it is high in fiber..makes me do a constitutional every 15 minutes. Want some?

Now if they could only concoct something that made you not say "fine example", "added a car to the stable", "drove some new hardware"......the world would be a better place.

Let me know if you have any unicorn semen left or if you still have a supply of synthetic blinker fluid. Both are getting next to impossible to find now. I know your GMC won't be needing it. PM me with a price and availability.

It is funny that you bring this up Steve. Just last night my wife and I decided to sell my 996 as well. We are moving into a Nissan Leaf. I just cannot justify continually harming our sensitive environment with this audacious "sports car". I will have the add up in the marketplace in a few days.

I thought maybe you were going to shack up with KrazyK and spend all of your time under him, er, I mean, under his 996.

Good one Steve. I knew after the second sentence that it could not be true. My two 996s have been the most dependable cars that I have ever owned.

Had us going for a minute, Steve!

We can't lose a member of the '99 club!

I knew it... not you Steve. Unless you were trading it in for a motorhome...

Glad you are keeping her.
