That wing is probably tuned only for high speed runs as a compromise between drag and keeping the rear planted and provide some stability. That wing will not be really that effective on reasonable speeds where the traditional wing mounted around the roofline or above extracts max downforce.
But what I'd like to know is how are they getting any kind of cooling in the 800+hp car when there isn't even any side-ducts? It seems like they might've put a turbo motor in a non-turbo car. I like to see the cooling setup on that car.

Link where the photos are says based on GT2 but the 9ff site says it is GT3 based. It was built specifically to take the production car speed record at NARDO so they're just building a few to homologate it. Perhaps the production models will have a better wing!

I think all of you guys are mistaken...that is not a wing on the back but rather a bench seat(it's hard to tell since the optional seat belts are omitted in the pics). This genius "mod" solves the problem of the unusable back seats due to the roll cage.
Granted, I wouldn't stick my kids back there but the mother-in-law...
