Hi All,

I thought I would share the changes I made to my 1999 996!!!

Changed wheel color, put on the side decals, got rid of the orange side markers and put medium window tint in.

IMHO, thought the car looked fine in the first pic but if you tire of the new look, you can change it.

The painted rims are not my cup of tea. The before pic looks better to me.

 

I like the new look Ray, especially the wheels. Are they the same wheels powder coated

Thanks for the pics. I'm in the before camp. Maybe you should have posted a poll so it would be easier for folks to vote on the looks.

Though it is your car and so only your opinion counts.

 

Looking good! I'm not 100% sold on the decal, but I don't see how anyone can argue that getting rid of the ambers and the tint looks bad. As for the wheels, silver wheels on a silver 996 is incredibly blah, I personally think that ANY contrast is good.

 

I like the wheel colour!

Oh, and Red Calipers!
