I may be wrong, but I'd have said that was a 996 not a 997.

No. He did one of those headlight mods to convert his 997, because everyone knows the MKI 996 has way cooler headlights.

I wish I had that clean of a garage and the drive to build a template whenever I took parts off to store where each screw went!! Nice Job Zanzibar and beautiful car.

Don't understand why more 996s weren't sold in this color - it is stunning in person. Years from now Zanzibar will stand out as collectable from all the silvers, grays, etc. Look at the M&M colors of the early 70s now... I've owned two silver 911s and while the color is extremely practical, it is so boring.
