Those are crappy ADV.1 wheels and of course they only look good because of the CGT style projector I got on the front-end of the car You should see the original (and miniature) 17" cheap cast turbo twist wheels that came with that car.... so so so sexy

Fred, quite being so modest(to say the least, haha). The centers don't look quite stock ADV to me.

they don't because of this Internet mirage thing, it's an illusion mate. Again, all caused by the reflection of those stunning Projectors

(I'll get a wheel/caps thread going on soon no panic)

I put everything together over the weekend and waited 24 hours for the silicone to set. This morning I installed them onto the car. Here's a photo. Sorry about the dirt. I think they look awesome.

Just noticed the bit of rubber trim sticking out the side. Went out and fixed it. All good now.

Nick, this is not bad looking at all, actually quite posh I like it very much

Man it's winter there huh. When you'll clean the 911 car (this spring?!) post more pics of the complete car. I'd love to see what those looks like on your champagne color Porsche

mine look pretty similar to medent except I used 35% window tint over the amber turn signals. Went from poor halogens to excellent HID:

Very nice, what was your total cost for the conversion?

My cost was buying the light kit from Fred along with about $50 for supplies (paint, sandpaper, silicone, etc).
All in all it was really quite an easy and satisfying project. And the improvement in the lighting is exceptional. Highly recommended.

Agree, Fred made a really well done kit. For me it was well under USD $400 for the basic kit and silicone.
Unfortunately I broke a lens trying to remove it and had to purchase another used headlight for $230

Joseph, your 911 car looks completely transformed when looking at the before & after pictures. I love it. I sincerely hope that you are 100% happy with your new headlight look& feel and the better beam quality (visibility). If there is "anything" that I can help you with from this end, please do let me know anytime. You have my direct mobile contact number and email address.

Thanks for sharing pics and very sorry to hear about the trouble you had RE the lens. I can imagine how frustrating this was when it happened.

Best wishes to you and to all fellow Rennlist members for year 2014!!!

Fred

Nick, thanks for the feedback, I am so glad that you appreciate what went into this kit and had fun doing your retrofit. In fact they do very well outperform the litronics (sad story I know but true).

Change your bulbs (lookup: 35watts "H1" xenon /$20) every 36 months and you should have those shinning at full capacity at all time.

Anything you need from Shanghai beach, you know where to find me.

Best wishes to you and the family there mate. All the best for 2014!
