If you click the link below, there is an extensive 20 page thread on these projectors. The last few pages have quite a few pictures of converted amber lights, but there are tons throughout the thread.

I am planning on doing this retro soon but I am still thinking on the colors... I am leaning towards all black including painting the housing but I am not sure if its going to be "rice" in a yellow car... I dont want to purchase new headlights if I dont like the look. Has anyone done this in a yellow car?

Personally on yellow I think a combination of flat black areas along with some areas with black tint would keep it classy.

I myself am contemplating keeping the headlight bowls tinted instead of black. I'll dig up a pic that is similar and coincidentally on a yellow car when I get back from work

My Photoshop skills leave much to be desired, but here is a black unit.
Do have any other angles of your car?

Great! I'll slap together some not-so-great Photoshop pictures for you later this afternoon or evening when I'm done working

Found the pic I was talking about. This is on an OEM litronic model but you can see its just slightly modified to keep it looking classy and OEM style. The edges have been blacked out along with the backing. But the headlight bowl and outer trim ring was left untouched. Makes it look aggressive but still keep with the OEM theme IMO.
