Well, the wait was worth it. I am super happy with this new set of Apex Racing VS-5RS Forged Wheels. A big thank you to the Team at Apex for putting up with my questions and follow up! I am headed to the track this weekend to see how they work under pressure . Apologies for the the dirty vehicle….

Those look fantastic. Rarely do I love aftermarket wheels on a 996 but these are artwork. Drive them is good health!

I agree completely!

These also are the new Apex VS5RS wheels. Tires are NT01 305/35 and 245/40. Fitment is perfect.

This is the exact setup I want to go with, tires and all! I am concerned with the fitment though, did you adjust your camber to 2° and roll the rear fenders? If not, any complications from spirited driving?

You will love this set-up…
Rear: Yes rolled rear fenders, camber -2.5
Front: Camber -2.7, I used 3mm spacers to clear the Ohlins spring seats (w/o spacer it did not touch, but was too close for me)
Ride Height: My super low days are behind me, now at GT3 height and no rubbing at all, I can yardstick measure the height if that helps

Are those rims/tires track day only? What's your street set up? Assuming you even have one.

I now have 3 sets (and the associated storage issues), all 3 are dual purpose (to/from track & track). These APEX/Rt660, then an APEX/NT01 set-up, and the OG OZ/Michelin Sport Cup 2 (been running for 5 years). This is the comparo year and hopefully a clear favorite emerges.
