I am sorry to bring this back to the Carrera II rims, but I just can't get a definitive answer.
Putting on Carrera II rims on a 996.1 NB Carrera 4, I can go to 285 without rolling the fenders? I am being told Carrera 4 is different from the 2 and I have to keep the 225 in the front and 265 in the back for proper balance of understeer and for the all wheel drive system.
This bogus, or I can go 285 in the back?
Jim, noticed this hasn't been addressed for you. 285 30 should be no problem, should not have to roll the lips. 245 / 35 front, almost perfect match for the all-wheel drive. This is also a very successful configuration for the track crew.
Not only are these good-looking configurations but I also feel they're useful for comparing different width and offsets, on both wheels and tires.. Thanks. Does the turbo front fitment match the narrow-body front fitment?

Appreciate it. In our opinion, the SM-10 design really looks at home on the 996 & 997 chassis.
Widebody and narrowbody 911 front wheel fitments are the same. Drivers can choose between an 8.5" ET42 or 9" ET46 front wheels depending on how they plan to use their car, desired front tire size, whether or not they will have negative camber dialed in, and which rear wheel and tire width they plan to run.
For the rear wheels, we have widebody and narrowbody specific offsets available to ensure proper fitment. Widebody cars will use our 11" ET36 or 12" ET45, while narrowbody cars will use our 18x11" ET60 or 18x12" ET65.

These are one of the best non-OEM designs I have seen on a Porsche 996. Well done!
