I had my original Sport Design's repaired (pothole and some curb damage). While we were at it, I had the spokes painted gold and the lip polished back to matte. I think they came out great. (Lighting makes them look a little yellower than they actually are).
They may take a few minutes extra time to clean, but I really like the sports classics. I had the turbo twists, changed them for the sports design, and finally, got a set of the Sport Classic II.
Note, the 1st SCII photo is half clean, the other fully cleaned.
You sir, have the best looking wheel here. Without question. Ask me how I know...
And yes, they sorta suck to keep clean. But they sure are purdy for the 5 minutes they stay clean.

DWhitlow - Is that Seal Grey? how are the polished lips holding up? Did you clearcoat them....or some kind of wax/sealer? They came out VERY nice!
Have a set of Sport Design's that I'm going to have the centers powdercoated and trying to decide what to do with the lips...clear or wax/seal (and maintain).
My favorite wheel design that Porsche makes is the 997 Turbo wheel. These are 19 inch on my 996, but you can find them in 18 inch. I wish I had gotten the 18's for every day smoother ride.
