Changing IMS/RMS; but adding aos and 1 o2 sensor for $11100???
Excited to get the ims /rms repair and would like to do the aos as well. But was quoted and additional $550 for the aos and $560 for the single o2 sensor that is out... Just thought the aos repair would be less since the engine is out; and the single o2 seems a little high... Thanks for any input...

yeah. thought that was kind of high for the extra two upgrades but wanted to ask the forum first. from what i read while doing the ims / rms the aos should cost less than an hour plus the part... but how about the one o2 with the job?

Wow, a really high estimate for work done by the dealer. Real shocker. Any reason you aren't using an Indy for your 12+ year old car? The general consensus is that Indies are better equipped to work on the older models than the dealer, plus normally significantly cheaper.

My friend, retail that part is $120 look elsewhere and find similar part for 40$. What I'm saying is go to Indy nearby have code read to tell u which sensor is bad and either tell them to replace for reasonable amount 175-200 or do it yourself. @ $560 walk.
I know happy hour over on east coast, but.... U get it

Funny, when Indy say replace all 4 they ar right.... And wrong. $ aside sure replace everything. On 12 yr old car your choice. Where u located? Maybe another rlister can recommend a shop. Engine doesn't come out for this work either.

$11,100 is that a typo or what. No way in the memory of man should you be paying that amount for Preventative Maintenance. I am shell shocked here. What prompted you to go for IMS/RMS, AOS and 02 sensor/ What is the mileage and year of the car? How long have you had it? More details please. Until you respond I need a wall.
