Default Sloppy Work from Dealer

So I'm replacing the AOS. I tried taking the intake off but couldn't get the last bolt, so I took the AOS off from the back. After it was off I figure it would be easier to reinstall and hook up the hoses with the intake off and I can easily get that last bolt, so I take the intake off and what do I find?

I guess this has been leaking since they replaced the vacuum reservoir a couple of years ago. I'll have to replace the rubber union that was damaged when they cinched down the clamp.

I was going to just install the AOS and be done. Glad I decided to remove the intake.

That's pretty easy to do, it's tight in there. I removed the intakes when I did my AOS, as well, cleaned them out and the intakes inlets onth eheads. Allowed inspection of the valve tops.

Then those become soaked with oil the petroleum breaks them down and softens them. I would have replaced those.

So two years after the fact you are blaming the dealer? Good luck.

That's nothing. When I had the clutch replaced in my C4S, my mechanic had to fix three broken/crossthreaded bolts he came across when removing the transmission. The only other time any of those parts had been removed? When the first clutch was replaced by the dealer...

It's easy to make this mistake when the engine is in the car.
