FYI... I have a pair of clean/low mileage mufflers with the gundo/fister type mod that will be up for sale shortly. They are still on the car but will swap them out in the near future.

They are 2004 mufflers (higher flow than 1999-2001 versions) in great shape, lower miles, no rust or rattles, 2004 oval tips, modified with a 2" gundo/fister type mod by a local shop (Bud's Mufflers) that's done more than a few of them.

They sound exactly like babylonboots's exhaust in the video above... I love the sound but my wife doesn't, and it's a small concession to go back to stock exhaust if she prefers to ride in (and occasionally drive) a 'quieter' Porsche!

I've let MrToro know in PM and I'll give him first crack if he's interested. Would be great to find a local buyer to avoid the hassle and expense of shipping, but can also get them boxed up and shipped if need be...

Just do it! Fister D's are amazing. I checked out the vids on YouTube but they sound so much better "in person". Hands down, the best bang for the buck.

I say call Darrin, place your order, then go see Dennis C. You'll be glad you didn't waste time!

I'm there almost every time, but this weekend I'll be in San Francisco for the FIA World Touring Car Championship and GT3 Cup Trophy Series races. I'll have to catch you in October or at the Porsche Breakfast Club meeting the following week!

My wife likes the FD sound... she drove the 911 to work today.
