Ebay for $599. The seller (I'll let you search as I don't want to promote) did not have any listed as of last week. Not sure if he put more on since then. Also, the lights do have resistors built in which I remounted to the body of the car (inside the light area) as they are supposed to heat up some. There is a Youtube video showing how to install them.

These are awesome looking lights... really update the look of the car.

They are on my list, but I've had other priorities first. One day...

Important FYI for newbs, Depo units are the best ones out there over Spyder branded ones. Better plastics, built in resistors, better fit(no taillight popping out). Although slightly more expensive, I think they are worth it, IMO.

Are there any aftermarket headlamp units out there?

Thx

Default Finally bit the bullet and installed a set

I just finished installing a set of the Dectane lights and I'm super-happy with the results. I think they make the car look 10 years younger.

It took all of 10 minutes to install and most of that time was disconnecting the old lights. Completely plug-n-play. No issues at all.

I ordered them from Orange Tuning and dealt directly with Frank. They had the best price I could find (by far). I was very happy with his service and would definitely recommend them at least for these lights. Ordered on March 30th and delivered to my door in Canada on April 21st. I assumed they would take a month to arrive so I was happy with 3 weeks.

Pictures below are with the turn signal enabled.

Not surprising as the Euro is at one of the lowest in the past few years at 1.07 to 1. Analysts are predicting it will go lower. Canada's outlook is a bit bleak too due to the oil snowball effect.

I just ordered a set yesterday, so the wait begins. What about the third brake lights in the deck and spoiler? Will it look weird to not have those changed as well? Will changing them trigger resistance issues, or are the resistors built into the new lights sufficient?

Go for the set, I drove with just the 2 for a year and wished I pulled the trigger way sooner. It unifies the look. I ordered the cheapest 3rd on ebay for like 75 or so, no problems at all.

I've seen them for the deck, but are they made for the stock spoiler too? (Admit I haven't really looked too hard yet.). No fault codes by adding the third?

It's the same light I believe. I only got one. I don't drive over 120 that much and my MOD budget for the year is done. Next year.

Just thought I'd answer my own earlier question on this thread about longevity of the Depo/Dectane 996 tail lights. I bought mine 4.5 years ago and they still look like new. No problems at all and I think the quality is as-good or better than the OE-lights. I checked to see if they were still available from Orange Tuning though but unfortunately they were no longer listed on their web site.
I'd buy them again for sure, although they are quite expensive.
