My Tubi's do NOT drone at all.

There's a decent used exhaust by Champion on ebay now as an option. IIRC a set of used Fabspeeds recently sold around $700 or so as well. Seems to be a good price considering Tubi's and Champion products in general are up there in price usually.

No, we use our own spec substrates.

Personally, I would find some used stock mufflers and do Fister D. I love mine - and the price would still probably be less and the sound probably better.

Most claims of HP gain need to be taken with a grain of salt... And I have heard a few aftermarket systems that droned badly. Fister D = no drone!

Good luck!

Hi Larry,

I'm glad to see you are enjoying the X-Pipe and thanks again for the order!

Fabspeed were a bit loud for me, I went with the GHL units.
You know they are there, but not obtrusive.

Changing the exhaust on my mk1 996 was one of the best mods.. FWIW I felt the engine was more responsive and more torque.. Perhaps it was in my head.. But I loved it..

I purchased the fabspeed exhaust after I heard the death rattle from the original exhaust. The sound the car makes over 4k rpm is intoxicating..

Good luck
