Head south on I-5 about 5 miles.
You mean to the Porsche dealership? Hard to believe they would fix it for $200. If they will, sounds like a great deal. Or are you aware of some other upholstery shop out in this area?

Next time you are down for the show look around for an upholstery shop.

Unlikely the dealer can fix the bolster. Perhaps it can refer you to a quality upholstery shop in the area that can.

When had my Boxster in for a new rear window at one such place (up here in northern CA though) the shop also did interior repair and I got to talking to the shop owner about seat cover repairs and he told me told no need to recover the entire seat, that just the damaged/worn section can be replaced.

OK, thanks. I don't need to replace the bolster right away. The wear area is one of those items that I notice, but no one else does. So, I will keep asking around and hopefully eventually will find a recommended good local upholstery shop, for when I'm ready. I always like to know who to use for various services BEFORE the services are needed, so that I'm not left scrambling.
