On my 03 Cab, under the front "hood" bolted to the fuel sending unit cover there is a flat plastic piece that has 2 snaps on it. About 8 inches long and roughly 2-3 inches wide with kind of a curve in the middle. I am wondering what the heck it is? The porsche part # is on it 996.561.183.02. I tried googling the part # but it came up in Russian. Any ideas on what it is? Thanks!

If it is a C4 this is a cover over the fuel sending unit. The plastic snaps are for the case that holds the windscreen, specific to the C4.

Ah that's what I was wondering, I didn't get the windscreen when I bought my car Thanks for the info!

I have an extra one with the C4 case. The windscreen has one small hole on the vertical section. Let me know if you are interested.

I am interested! Does it just snap into the 2 little holes in the rear just up from the back seats? Thanks
