Default Seattle Stereo Installation

Hello all. I have a 996 turbo and recently received a Kenwood double DIN DVD/Nav stereo and rear view camera as a gift. I need to find a reputable AV installer in Seattle. I realize that sometimes shops have issues with folks bringing in their own components to be installed (as they usually make their money by selling the stuff to you with a markup). Any help with recommending a good, reputable shop would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I'm sorry that I can't provide more info, but I hear there is an independant shop in Bellevue not too far from Park Place Ltd. that is well versed in modern Porsches, and I hear that Barrier uses them regularly. Again, sorry I can't provide the name of the place, but perhaps this will jar Seattle Rennlisters memories, or perhaps call Barrier or Park Place for the name of the place. Good luck!

Might be Car Toys; there's one next to Park Place. I bought my 996 there and the salesman suggested going to Car Toys to get a Bluetooth adapter for the car.

There's a couple shops in that area, CNC (formerly Car Nutz), 425 Motorsports and Park Place.

Despite what I said about Car Toys, if you are going to take it to a Car Toys, I would take it to the one in Redmond next to Park Place, since they're used to working on nice cars.

Benchmark Motoring in Bellevue (425) 614-4100 does high end, high quality installations. Not cheap...but excellent work. Recommended to me by Barrier when I bought my 996 as one of the few places they send their cars. They were doing a Carrera GT when my car was in there.
