Just like the title says.
Want to start a thread that lists all the mods with a cost under $500

Here is my list:
Smoke side markers $65
Painted brake calipers $300
Interior LED lighting $100
Schnell CAI $100
Tint $240

Best bang for the buck mods are SSK and muffler hack.

Can the Schnell CAI $100, save $97 and do the shaving foam cap mod, absolutely no difference in sound

Definitely the motor mounts if you need them or haven't done them. I would have done them first had I known how good of a change it was.

aluminum gauge rings $100
fister muffler upgrade $100 (local shop did it)
997 short shifter $150 (best upgrade)

One recent "mod" I did recently was a LED 3rd brake light as the factory one is incandescent, believe it or not.

You can get this in red, smoke, or clear for under $100.

I was really surprised that a $100k 2001 model year car didn't come with them.

Fister D mufflers. Went on a short back roads run with a group last weekend and friends were lining up to run behind me just to hear it!

Even with two hours of labor (due mostly to rust on my from-Boston originally car) and extra parts cost to replace rusty clamps etc., the entire mod with shipping both ways was under $500.
