Best bang for the buck mod you can do.
This is how our cars should have sounded from the factory!
After that:
Clear side markers - $40
Paint calipers and hats (Paint and decals) - $50
Becker ipod/touch/iphone connection - $25
GT3 shifter - $300
Haven't done the motor mounts yet, but scheduled for next month.

The standard intake rubber has a resonance rubber tube branching off it, the Schnell intake is a single tube that replaces your standard, replacing this resonance tube with a blanking plate.
Despite claims of performance (I didn’t feel any), all it does is remove this resonator tube and enhances the noise. Simply blanking off the resonator tube by loosening it, placing a Gillete shaving foam cap over the airbox, then refitting the intake gives you exactly the same effect for $3.

Fister D mufflers. Went on a short back roads run with a group last weekend and friends were lining up to run behind me just to hear it!
Even with two hours of labor (due mostly to rust on my from-Boston originally car) and extra parts cost to replace rusty clamps etc., the entire mod with shipping both ways was under $500.

Android stereo for $300 with euro-ebay bracket $150. I can get all OBD2 data, load lap timing apps for android and anything else for android. Like angry birds
Blinking back light $30... my third light blinks 3 times and then goes solid. The company has couple versions I got the wrong one but there is one that if you press break again within 5 seconds the light goes solid instead of blinking again so you don't annoy people in traffic. Lucky no traffic in my city so no-one complained yet.
Smart top - $400 open top with remote.
Racing aluminum pedals $79.

The version of the product wucash wanted is the Blinking Smart Stop Delay Module, which flashes the third brake six times when you first apply the brakes, and then the light stays on as normal. If you brake again within 8 seconds, the flashing behavior is bypassed.
In addition to looking cool, it's amazing how much more attention drivers behind you pay when the third brake light blinks for a second or so. In this age where everyone is texting, applying makeup or shaving, and eating tacos while driving, this is a great safety feature.
I have installed this gadget on every car I've purchased since I learned of its existence...
