I ran my bike at Putnam a few years back in 30 degree weather. It was freaking cold. I could barely get through a 20 min session before my fingers went completely numb. And I rode stiff as a marble statue as I was so anxious about poor grip. But needless to say, I had tons of fun! You've got me looking for winter DE opportunities--it seems like a good chance to work on my wet weather/slick track skills.
I find the coldest I can ride with ventilated race leathers is about 10-12 degrees C, anything less than that it's no fun IMO!! Does look cool though with snow!!

OH YEA!!
I put down about 30 minutes towards the end of the day with it pouring and only 3 cars on a 2.4 mile circuit --- it really honed the smoothness in a hurry
Dave - thanks, I thought the snow was cool as heck too!
This was open lapping all day, no run groups - just drive as much as you like. I run B or A on PCA days...depending on who is there and who I hope to hook up with and play with
the really cool part of that day was we let about 1/2 dozen really crazy motorcycle racers run a 30 minute session right before lunch...and one more 20 minute session later in the day. I had never seen bikes run so it was interesting...and man did they look cold! My heat was on high but with the window open i was now all that warm in my car so I can imagine they were freezing - saw a lot of finger wiggling when they came in to the paddock....
Faring exhausts some heat on the legs and wind breaks legs tucked in. Any upper half in the wind gets a blast though.
