19999.00 up to 23 if you want to sit on it. Your problem is going to be the ameican fear of 100k miles. Also financing a car that is 11 years old. Anyone who has 20k cash can buy something else with less miles. Time of year isnt helping you either.

Ask $15 and sell it quickly
Above that you are in the 15 to 20 range and people will be able to find 50k mile cars without problem
I could not sell my 2003 with 39000 miles for more than 25k, after being on autotrader for a while, so I decided to keep it as a third car.

I find it hard to believe that a 121K chassis with 60K motor is worth $20K. GLWTS regardless how you price it.

$17,000 sounds about right. Tough to find any 911 of any year in good shape for much less than that, but will be hard pressed to find a buyer for much more than that due to the issues raised by Shark and philooo.

Since you put so much time and money in the car, why not just keep it? You could have an extra backup car and keep the miles off the 996. Whatever you decide dont just give the car away because others dont think its worth as much as you do. Keep it in great shape and use it when you want to. I bought mine for the long haul which is why I am slowly and carefully replacing every part needed along with regular maint. I might even move mine inside a special showroom in my house as a conversation piece.

My daily driver is a BMW 650i. The 996 was once my daily driver. I'm still hesitant to sell it, but I really want a 991. I agree with most everyone's comments and I am expecting to get no more than $17.5, but I'm going to call my brother and offer it to him (probably for trade-in though) and maybe he'll let me drive it. Part of the justification for my initial post was because most on this form have a good sense of what's going on and I didn't want to ask to high or sell myself short. I have no illusions as to what the car may be worth. No joke: I looked into making the wall that separates the garage from the rest of the house in glass. Would make a beautiful show piece.

I have to agree with 15k for fast sale, but it is probably worth 17-19k. I wish it wasn't so nice I am looking for one to convert to a race car..

I was offered one 6 months ago for 5k with 160k running good, but bad paint. Where is he now that I am ready!!

I paid $16,750 for a 2000 C4 cab with 100K miles complete service history from new primarily the local Porsche dealer, new roof and tires near perfect condition.
But this is Michigan and it was the end of summer.

I'm going to list it here, pca, renntech and maybe eBay. I'm just not inclined to allow too many people to drive it, but I guess that goes with the territory instead if trading it in.
