99 C2 bought in 05 with 55k miles, now has 110k miles.
Nothing other than normal wear parts replaced, & still runs great!

I have yet to hear of anything wrong with the 1999 C2.. Not like some of the postings about me or mine I might add haha. Keep them coming, I love it.

 

'99 C2 Artic silver with 62,000 miles purchased in December of 2011. Prior to my purchase it has been driven a total of 5,000 miles in last 5 years. No problems - just preventive items - replaced IMS, RMS, AOS, water pump, thermostat, coolant flush, 60K maintenace. Had the goofy horn issue where it would beep if you went over a bump or stopped quick. Replaced the air bag bracket ($60) inside the steering wheel to fix that.

I live in southern Alabama so drove the car to Flat 6 in Cleveland, Ga to let Jake do the work. If you have a chance to drive up that way I would recommend it. A beautiful part of the state and some nice winding roads.

 

99 c2 black on black with 90,000 km. I've only had the since July but no issues so far. IMS was done by previous owner and I plan on doing some maintenance items next year.

I think this thread is great. We always post on this board looking for help when there is a problem with our cars so it is a nice change to hear about people who have not had any issues outside of wear and tear items.

I have 99 C2 with 48k miles on it and its my daily. I so far replaced trunk shock, coolant tank and serpentine belt. No oil leaks just done my 45k mile everything was great.

 

If only, Suppose a public flogging is out of the question ?.

 

I'll bite. MY99, currently 62k miles, have owned since 9/06, with 35k miles at the time oy purchase. Only routine work done other than a wheel bearing replaced. Very reliable and still enjoy driving it every time I start the engine.
