Default FS: G-Box Transmission....

Purchased from G-Box 3 years ago when I blew a R&P destroying the case. Refreshed by G-Box end of 2010 w/new synchros and some other goodies. A friend sold me his custom geared trans at the beginning of this year and this box has been sitting ever since. I blew a motor last weekend hence I'm selling the trans to help fund that rebuild.

This transmission has always worked great with no issues what-so-ever. We pulled off the case this week and all the gears and synchros look great. The box was always operated with a larger trans cooler expanding the quantity of oil by 1 quart. I use Synolec 9920 gear oil (75-140) changed regularly.

Price FOB Pasadena, Ca. $1,900.

Think it headed South for the winter....

I had 2-8500 over-revs at Laguna due to misaligned cup cables. I should have torn it down and replaced the rod bolts but it ran good so I buried my head in the sand. I don't know exactly what happened till they tear it open tomorrow but the r-side case is cracked across the top and down the front.....

I don' t sea a reason to spend more money tearing down this engine. It's not rebuildable.

Is this a race trans? Not suitable for street use? Will it bolt right up?

Where is the tranny? On mobile device, can not see your location.
