Default Help with 996 pricing

Hi,
The reason I post this question is that this car has the new engine and turbo installed and i can't figure out how much to ask.

How much should I be asking for a:

1999 Porsche 911 C2
WP0AA2995XS620808
47,956 miles
Clean CarFax and Title

Only 6k miles on new out of the crate, upgraded 3.6 L engine with TTP twin turbo kit that pumps out 465 HP and 430 ftlb of torque.
Sachs Sport clutch disc and pressure plate I
LNE IMS bearing kit installed as well for good measure.

I was thinking of asking $32,900 or best reasonable offer but what does everyone here think the price should be?

Oooh very nice, aero car by chance? I don't think you'd have much trouble moving it at $30K if that's the case.

I think your price is in the ballpark as a starting point depending on condition and options. Maybe accept a lower offer after negotiating with a serious buyer. Who did the engine work?

If thats what you want for it then advertise it and stick buy your guns. Otherwise, keep it. Its a gorgous car. I dont know why you ask what others think. I would put a price on a 996 car and no negotiations, Its a 911 Porsche for Gods sake. No negotiations. Let them go somewhere else if they dont like yours at your price. Nuff said and bollux to um.

Hate to say it, but 996's are a mass produced model. They're not exactly rare and with so many on the market - people can go somewhere else.

OP,

I think your price really depends on who did the work. 30k might be reasonable if it was a respectable shop. If I did the work in my garage, I wouldn't be surprised to see the turbo decrease the overall value of the car . Remember, you have to be low enough to stay out of 'real' Porsche turbo territory.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. Very helpful.
In answer to Healy 1968's question, All engine work was performed by Len and Mark Cummings at Auto Sport Engineering in Stowe, MA. Günter Mandl of Sportec AG was flown in from Germany to program ECU. So the work was performed by pro's, not me in the garage. I'll stick to the $30K mark and see how that plays out.
