I started on my radio project today and when I took out the CD holder and tray - I found the item pictured below. It looks like it was taped and doubleside foam taped in place at 1 time - though it was lose when I opened it.
It has an FCC ID sticker on it. Factory phone transmitter?

Someone already paid for it. Find out the activation number so that you can have it activated if someone "borrows" the car without permission.

Free Lojack - that's pretty cool. I will have to dig through my ownership records - maybe its there and I missed it. Wish they had done the stereo at the same time!!!!

I bought a new '06 Lexus with Lojac in Texas. Drove the car back to Utah where I live. A year later the car was stolen out of my locked garage at night. The police departments in SLC and several smaller suburbs, the county sheriff, etc did not subscribe to the Lojac service so they could not help me at all. Many did not even know what it was. I did call the nearest large city which I think was Las Vegas PD and they said SLC was out of their jurisdiction so even though they had the ability to locate my stolen car they would not do it. My '04 Turbo has Lojac for all the good that it would do me.
