Default Wiper ****?

I am a new Porsche owner and haven't been able to locate an owner's manual yet. I did download one but it's for a 2003 and mine is a 2002. My question is: There is a **** to the left of the radio that has a wiper symbol. This **** doesn't seem to operate anything. The car is a cab if that makes any difference. Thanks!!

It is supposed to change the interval time between wiper swipes. I don't think it does that on my car.

I pretend it is a brake bias ****.

Mine's a '99, and the **** DOES change the time interval of the intermittent wipers. However, I seldom drive it in the rain

It is the wiper interval switch. Clockwise faster. It works on my '99.

You are correct. I have the rain sensor so that's why the **** is non functional. Like my Corvette, neither one gets driven in the rain. Thanks for your help.

If you have rain sensor wipers it changes the sensitivity of the rain sensor. At least on my 2004 it does.
