$210 at ECS part # 99742401000

Edit; Oops, that part # and price is for the standard 997 shifter which is 15% quicker than the standard 996

Swapped out my B&M for a 997 SSK. It it less notchy during shifts. Liked the B&M over the stock, and like the 997 SSK over the B&M, however, it is not as drastic a change as stock to B&M.

I bought mine from Sunset Imports in Oregon, it was four twenty something plus shipping. Suncoast in FL was about the same price, but I buy a lot from Sunset so I stuck with them. Both places typically have the best prices for OEM parts.

I picked up a 997 shifter last year and throws are shorter and tighter than the stock 996 shifter. A bit notchy when cold but that goes away in 5-10 min. Given my experience with the stock 997 shifter, I think the SSK might be a bit much. The only other one I might consider would be the 997 GT3 shifter as it uses metal bushings where the stock has plastic. Suncoast 997 shifter

+ 1 for the OEM 997 shifter in a 996. I just swapped mine out and Goldilocks would approve.

Putting my 997.2 GT3 Shifter in tonight. Factory shifter even with solid engine mounts makes me sad in the pants.
