Blow? A bit extreme, and you're definitely in the minority opinion there. Though, PS2s, like many tires, have gone through iterations. Original PS2s were not anything to write home about, but the latest ones are pretty amazing. Worth the extra money? We'll see...

I was essentially in this scenario. The tires suited the bill, at one third the price of PS2s that were available that day. That's a huge difference.

Now recently, I've learned the Costco carries PSSs locally. I likely should have done that, in hindsight.

I ended up going with the Sumis and am probably getting to the end of break in period for them. They have a lot of road noise (probably from being in break-in period from what I've read). Definitely felt greasy when I first got them on, after about 300 miles on them and the grip has gotten much better. Grip and road feel is a plus now.

I didn't see the Super Sports in the proper sizes for the 18" sport designs.
