If you are under 45 years of age you need bad *** black wheels. If not the world is your oyster. Mine are Classic 2 on a silver body but I am an old dude. And WTF do old dudes know about modding eh? lol

Also try doing a search. You will get a lot of hits.
The site above is very nice. It gives a great perspective on many wheel styles.

Where is captain obvious when you need em?

if your looking for 18's id consider the OZ allegerita for their strength and light weight. Also theyre made in numerous colors for around $1600 at tire rack. Another option is victor equipment. A few members have them and they are also priced around $1600.

or

If you want to stay OEM the Porsche lightweight 5 spokes are really nice and if you can find a used set i doubt they are more than $500-700. Use the savings to paint/powder coat them a different color if desired.

or bump the budget for HRE, BBS, Fiske, Volk, etc...

I am a big fan of the Techarts. I've bought three sets of wheels and tires from Wheel Dynamics over the past couple of years. Talk to Eli, he is very knowledgeable and puts good wheel and tire sets together Good luck and post some pics.

The rotiform blq wheels are nice, concave rotiform nue wheels would be good looking also.

Like cloths man. What do you like. Who cares what others think.

From a performance POV, I'd stick with something lightweight and not go too big. 19's are kinda wagon wheels on a P-car and carry a lot of unsprung weight.

3 piece is always cool, but tend to be pretty spendy. What ever you do, don't get heavy knock offs. Go quality or stick with OEM.

Some spacers pushing your wheels out to proper stance will go along way with your stock wheels whatever they are.

Due to the 5x130 lug pattern, none of Rotiform's cast offerings can be used on a Porsche. Your only option is to move up to forged, which start around $1200 per wheel.

However, they are currently working on a new flow-formed motorsport wheel that should be coming out in the next couple months, pricing should be in the $400-500 per wheel range.

I got some nice ones from TireRack. They are 18" with a more modern turbo twist. Did not cost an arm and a leg either. Got them on closeout. Forgot what they called them but I am VERY happy with them, look OEM but in a upgraded way.

Do you plan to track the car on these wheels or just pimp around?

If tracking you are going to want a good set of forged wheels. There are some cast wheels that will be ok on track as well like the OZ's that were previously mentioned in this thread.
