Sorry to revive and old thread here...So you can leave the windscreen on and put the top up and it won't cause any problems? I assumed it had to come off before the top goes back. I just got the car a month ago. Thanks

You CAN put the top up and leave the windscreen up. There is a slight tint when it's up and you're looking through the rear view mirror but not really a big deal.

I like the wind, that's why I bought a Cab. It gives me some of the lack of confinement and freedom that riding a motorcycle does. I have several motorcycles and have since the '60s, I don't like windshields on them.

I've tried out the deflector maybe twice in 2 years, maybe 3-4 times on my previous 996 Cab that I owned for 7 years. I'd bet that most people that find the wind a bit unsettling and would like it.

I use mine in the summer w/ the soft top and it works great - only consideration is that you lose your rear seats for humans (they become 'wind resistant' storage spaces).

Any recommendations on folding or non folding and OEM vs. aftermarket?

I never used one but the better half grabbed the one from the son's car and put it in my car, I have to say I like it a lot, I am bald headed so that part don't bother me, her hair stays in place now, I do wear hearing aids and the biggest gain was reduction in noise and able to have a conversation in the car at freeway speed. now I need to find one to buy.
