Is the cabriolet windscreen worth it?

Op,
Get it, I had second thoughts the night I picked it up and installed it before getting on the road, it does cut down the wind buffeting a great deal, and I thought I was going to missing the wind buffeting, but then I realized I can just reach back even while driving to raise or lower the windscreen in about 3 seconds total, so i can tailor it accordingly depending on the mood, the temperature, the girl, etc.
What it will really do for you is significantly extend your top down season, I drove to the local Porsche owner get together last Saturday morning with the top down and wind deflector up when the outside temperature was only 42 deg F, I had a ball cap on and a light jacket, heater full warm and blower on full, seat heater on low setting and I was very comfortable for the 30 minute drive on the highway, there was NO WAY I could have done that without the wind deflector!! I wonder what all the other drivers on the highway thought of the crazy guy in the Cab driving with the top down......
Get it, you won't regret it.

And the other thing is if it rains your fine as long as you keep it over 80, I rode down I-95 one time in a thunderstorm at 80, no water came in the car at all. well nearly none. You do get weird looks from the peasants tho'.

I have one, but I don't like it. I bought it from Pelican or SunCoast since mine didn't come with one.
Point 1) I'm almost 6'3". With the car seat in the far position, I have to sit pretty upright, and then the wind gets me over the top of the windshield. If I try to move the seat-back back, then it runs into the rear wind screen.
Point 2) I can't put my clubs in the back of the car.
My wife won't let me get rid of the screen, though.

If I take the driver out of the bag they will fit or if I slide the passenger seat forward.

I used mine for about a 40 mile 80mph drive today - very big difference.
I generally do not install it unless I know I am driving highway speeds with the top down.
I hate the look of it - I think it chops up the lines of the car.

Took our first drive after installing the wind deflector. Wife likes it. Says it is a huge improvement - this is a big deal as she historically has not liked have the top town in any of the cars.

LOL...it's not for me. As a former Marine and, how you say, without hair on the skullcap, doesn't bother me a bit. My wife has a ton of hair and is spoiled by the wind deflector on her Audi. On a rare casual occasion, I can get her to put a ball cap on.
