Love the graphics but how about a t-shirt that says, "997 because everyone can't own a 996."

I'm game for a good 996 t-shirt!

Dream Carrera: I bet you didn't see this post going 7 pages.
And I think we all learned something:
1. Don't mess with gang with the "fried egg" headlights.
2. Doing so will be like wrestling with a pig in the mud. You will end up dirty and the pig will enjoy it.
3. Everybody has a first love, and they will remain beautiful forever.

I definitely want a 996 shirt just like the one posted (tach, key on left), maybe in grey, blue, on a nice Beefy T all cotton shirt!

Hey Guys! I'm glad you like the shirt. I didn't think it would generate as much interest as it has. I'm a graphic designer and have made a bunch of shirts for fun in the past and the idea just popped in my head for a shirt I would like to have.

Anyway, if there's enough interest, and it looks like there is, I can have these shirts made up and send them off to anyone who wants one. Cost will probably be around $20-$25 shipped to you. Just send me a pm with what size, color (White, Black, Navy, Gray) and how many you want and I'll get you my pay-pal info and an exact price when I know how many I have to order. I'll wait to order them until next weekend to give people time to see this and order if they want.

It's interesting that the CPA President runs a 987 Boxster (he may also have some air cooled varieties of 911s). Of course we know the 987 Boxster is so much more of a Porsche than the 996. He is also a fellow Rennlister that frequently posts to the Autocross forum.

I could care less about the original t-shirt but I would agree that his response wasn't exactly professional.

[QUOTE=ivygreen;9458061]Keep in mind that this was a response from the President of the Central Pennsylvania Chapter - the Chapter responsible for the stupid t-shirt snub. It wasn't from PCA Headquarters. I suspect PCA wouldn't be too happy with his flippant answer to my email either. All of my contacts with the National Office have been extremely courteous and professional/QUOTE]

Yeah okay but still.....don't let my anger disappear.....grrr......GGGRRRRRR......dang, I think it's gone......

Still love my car though and can't wait until the shirts get here!

Agreed. The Hershey t-shirt idea, dumb. But not really such a big deal. It is the response that reflects poorly on that particular chapter of the PCA.
