"Take a chill pill"

Where can I get chill pills? I think I need them because every time I drive my 996, my adrenaline seems to elevate.

Sure, it IS just a t-shirt, but if certain PCA chapters don't consider the 996 worthy of the list of real Porsches, then they must not want our support. Also, it's pretty rich how no one bats an eye at the inclusion of the 997. What did the 997 bring to the table, other than restyled headlights? Is that what all the 996 hate boils down to?

Doesn't matter. The 997 is for those ***** whiners who wanted their round headlights.

You guys are right, it is a snub! I wouldn't take it personally though. Their event T-shirts of the past have had some pretty big goofs, like the other year they honored the 911 and the only 911 pictured on the shirt was a 911 GT1.

The 901 shouldn't be on the shirt. They were prototypes that never saw production, the 996 should have been on there instead.

Here's a little something to raise you spirits, fresh off it's class win at Lime Rock 2006!

I cant believe they put a 964 on there as they are perceived to be worse than a 2.7 911

I like the shirt too. But maybe reverse the image so the car points the other way positioning the 996 logo on left side over the heart.

WHAT HE WROTE

Buddy,

Take a chill pill, would ya? It's a t shirt not a manifesto

Best regards
Alan Pozner

WHAT POZNER SHOULD HAVE WRITTEN:

Friends,

Boy, is my face red! We really blew this one, and I apologize to all the 996 owners out there. You have been (and are) an important part of our Porsche family, and I hope you'll come and join us for this annual event....we'd love to have you and you'll be welcomed with open arms.

Best regards
Alan Pozner

Should make a shirt:

996

The original water-cooled 911.

(All others are posers.)

You guys sound a lot like this guy:

And Mr. Pozner's response reminds me of this:

BTW, that extra shirt I have, I've raised the price to $50. They are sold out and sought after on every other subforum except this one for some reason... So if you want it send me a PM fast before I raise the price again!
