The new owner of the silver aero picked up his new ride and is on his way down to Florida. My new ride got delivered as well. I was able to get both cars together for a shot.

It sure is Steve. I put a lot of time and work in the 996. It has also allowed me to meet a few great Rennlisters who share the same passion. I must admit it was hard watching it drive away but I know it is going to a good home where the owner will put it through the paces. The new owner is a DE instructor so I am sure it will spend a lot of time on the track.

Agreed. The Turbo is sick. Chao, we new a review when you can please. Always an untouchable dream like car for me. Interesting to me how you reached back in time for a 1997 993TT. Any track days planned?

I wanted to chime in and say congratulations Chao on the turbo. It looks (and sounds) even better in person. I also want to say thanks again for a great transaction. Your care and maintenance of the 996 definitely showed on the 1150 mile trek back to Florida (mostly in the rain). Not one hiccup. I really enjoyed meeting you, and don't worry I plan on enjoying it and maintaining it in a way that would make you proud.

I went back to a 993TT because I will not be spending as much time tinkering Pcars with a newborn child. 993TT throws you back in time and I want a special feeling when I get into a pcar now. I did not want a 993NA (although I came close to pulling the trigger a few times) because it is slower than a 996 and it does not handle as well. This 993TT has many of the 993 handling and speed issues dialed out.
This modded 993TT is a solid investment in giving everything I am looking for above. It needs a little bit of work to get it where I would like it but they are not issues that will leave me stranded on the road. That will let me coming back to this fun hobby.
