Default Fabspeed's SuperCup Mufflers

Hi guys,

Has anyone tired fabspeed's supercup mufflers before?

Would greatly like feedback on them, for example performance gains compared to their maxflo or any other after market mufflers. Sound wise?

Cheers

I have Fabspeed muffers, I don't know if they are the super cup ones (they were on the car when I bought it)...

They sound nice, but def drone a bit on the highway when in 6th gear... you can't hear them when idling.

I'd like to know as well. I currently have headers-200 cell-fisterD mufflers. It's plenty loud with no drone and 99% happy but I'm looking for that 1%...which I think the supercups may have...

82_930 you probably have the maxflows not the supercups

I have the new SuperCup exhaust with the dual cannister design. They sound awesome and IMO are how the car should sound from the factory. I'm also running catless btw. Perfect back pressure and performance is great. Go for it!

I'm gonna guess that there is some drone around the 3k mark? Any sound clips?

There is a bit of drone at the 3k level, but once the car is warmed up I rarely ever go under 3k so it makes no difference to me........ Under 3k RPM the exhaust is pretty quiet in my opinion, and this is without cats. If you're running with cats and want an exhaust that you can actually hear then the supercup is perfect. I'd say it's about 2/3rds of the way between the OEM muffler and muffler bypass pipes.

As for clips here is a video from Fabspeed, it sounds exactly like my car:

FD motorsports in california makes a modification to your stock mufflers which sounds simply awesome. They will not drone, not one bit. you can hear a throaty sound. i had fabspeed on a 997 and they do sound nice but $1200 or so for fabspeed compared for a couple hundred for FDmotorsports mod you can't beat it. I am really impressed with the sound of my 996 with this mod. Highly recommend them and really nice people too. Google them and they have a video where you can hear them. Ask for Darin
