Default Max Tire Size for a 996C2 narrow body?

What is the maximum tire size which will fit an 18" x 11" 63 offset wheel without tire rub.
I am running 295's on 19 x 11 67 offset now for my street tires with some room to spare to the wheel well lip.
I would like to run 315 NT01's on the rear. My car has been dropped so the top of the 19's are about 1.25" up into the wheel well.
I am currently running the 275 18 Nitto's and don't want to go to 888's. If only Nitto would make additional sizes... but that's another thread.
Any experience you all have is appreciated. I hate to buy and try only to have to sell and lose $$
Thanks, Scott

What are you running on the fronts, and why do you want something that wide?

Stay with the 295 in the rear and put 245's on the front. The 315 is just overkill for the C2... sometimes bigger is not always better.

If its for the track you are going to have a lot of under steer. You can over tire a car and then its really hard to get heat into them. Just something to think about.

Since we are on this topic, I am running 19x10"/56 os. Currently have 275's and need replacing, will 295's fit without fenders being rolled? Also, I am lowered an inch. THX

+1 FWIW, I race on 245/285 tires. With 315's your car will push like a pig.
