Default To Wing or not to Wing??? Many Pics

I just put on the new turbo nose with the C4 chin spoiler (something like a 40th Anniversary), and I really like the look, even with the wrong M1 side skirts.

I am considering putting a GT3 spoiler on the back to complete the look.

I parked next to a new GT3 yesterday and I think my car needs something back there.

Here are some pictures of my car and some of my car next to the GT3.

What do you guys think? I found a similar wing spoiler on ebay and the guy is holding it for me.

The last thing I'll probably do is Victor Equip Innsbruck.

Opinions? Wing? No Wing? I can't decide...

Is it too much? Would the side skirts and wing not matching look weird.

Once in awhile I'll look at my 99' coupe and think that a rear wing will complete the look, but then I wonder if that means that I'm now a poseur since I don't track my Porsche. I'm torn about an aero package, but do prefer its looks over my rather plain jane 911. So the answer to your question is...absolutely.

It's all a matter of personal taste. I like the looks of some wings, but you see wings on Hondas, Toyotas, Mazdas, etc, so they're not really that special. On the other hand, a spoiler that automatically deploys when needed is kind of cool and unusual. Do what makes you happy and don't worry about what others think. People around these boards make up their own rules when it comes to "posers". Essentially, what they do is "updating" and what others do is "posing".

I like your car without the GT3 wing. Just personal taste.

if you want to wing get rid of the Turbo Bumper and MK-I Skirts and get a MK-II GT3 Bumper, MK-II GT3 Skirts and MK-II GT3 Wing... Only way it will work.

Zookie, do you like the turbo bumper and the MK1 side skirts now? Maybe just some new wheels?

well yes sort of, car looks like a 40th AE but i think the MK-I Skirts throws it off.. Maybe if you had MK-II Skirts, it would flow better

I dont know why you even have MK-1 Skirts on a MK-II anyways, baffles me

Baffles me too, that's how it came. Maybe instead of looking for a new wing, I'll get the correct side skirts sell these.

Anybody want to buy MK1 side skirts???

Completely personal choice.
Absolutely not. Why the heck would you do that to your car?
Sorry, you asked.

Mk 1 skirts were a Factory option in 02/03.

Depends on the wing. I personally thing the 996 GT3 look (bumper, skirts and wing) is perfect for an MKII. Your car is already lowered.
