Krap like this really brings down the forum. Embarrassing.

You guys still at it? I've been 145 mp (this car has gotten quicker over the years) and back and then drove to wait for like 5 kids to get their hair cut by my barber (had to wait like two hours for my turn). Did you guys drive Porsches today?

Don't feel bad my X-GF and her 2 sons where at the barbershop today. She and I dated for 5 years after HS. Anyway her son attends the same HS she and I attended and he's in the marching band. As the older waits for his brother to get his hair cut he sits next to me. He asks, "why are you so quiet were you like this in HS". I say, "am I supposed to march up and down the barbershop yelling?". So I ask him how's the band doing and his percussion solo at the last game. Then he asks how I was in HS and what did I do? I said well I was a star athlete football/basketball and I did Chorus for a couple years. He looks at his mom and then looks back at me and says in a disappointing tone as if I were a looser, "Chorus, really"? Meanwhile, I'm thinking, "ahh you're in freakin marching band you little punk"!

I spent some time giving the toys a polish to prep them for the cold weather.

It started before the 993 to 996 and it's already continuing on with the 991 that few have even driven. It's a shame we can't all get along with a common love for these *** engined machines, but it doesn't seem to be so. Personally I have yet to drive a 911 I didn't like (I've driven at least one example from each generation). Hopefully the 991 will be another good one.

I agree and I don't understand it. To me the only thing it comes down to is snobbery and an inferiority complex. The new guys look down on the old and the old guys are afraid of having old toys.

They're all great cars and there's no need for name calling. It's funny, I see no need to trade in my 996 for a newer car, as the difference in performance vs. the added cost is just not worth it to me.

Just a heads up on buddy

His 996 was totalled and he thought about an sc or other ac as replacement, then stumbled into that black beauty and bought it, who can blame him, nice car

Singing is so gay, just ask Bob Dylan
Why can't you get them to see past there own ***? Selfish lazy they can't take the time to find out about what makes things work better cause that's what their parents want them to do. So they go about smashing everything. It's really quite exiting when they get a hold of somthing like a Turbo Carrera.
