In all seriousness, I agree with Spender, 0-60 times are relevent whether we want to admit it or not. Would I like my car to retain it's driving dynamics and feel yet accelerate from 0-60 like a new Corvette Z06? Hell Yes!!!

The times I'm referencing were determined by Car and Driver. BMW has even faster times. Either way you split it, my M3 is faster than my 996.

as for the OP statement, i agree its good they did this, and I like the 993 in the mix...remember who they are aiming the info at...potential buyers....

996 owners are not buyers because they are happy with the bargain they have already - why spend an additional $90+k for......headlights

The 3.6L 996's time from 0-62 mph is 5.0 seconds.
