Default LNE IMS tool kit

Does anyone have the LNE IMS tool kit that they are willing to rent out?

I will paypal you the full kit price $190. You ship me the tool kit, I will use next weekend, ship back, and you refund my paypal the difference between the rental fee and what i paid you when you receive it. An easy way to make some of your money back with a tool you hopefully arent using any time soon again.

PM me with some offers thanks!

Too bad I just modified (re-tapped) my kit to re-extract my old LN IMS bearing, otherwise I would certainly have lent you my tool.

Logray -

So you are extracting the LN bearing? Why? I thought you were doing a total rebuild and splitting the cases would let you remove the bearing without any tool.

When removing the IMS flange during teardown I managed to strip the center support stud pretty badly (slotted end) . So I had to extract the bearing in order to press in a new support.

Welcome to the Rennlist family. Any pics of your 4 day old Porsche, before and after surgery?

Ha...it didn't take long to get threadjacked.

Thanks Barn996. I actually bought it off the Rennlist classifieds from Coleco. Here are some pictures as it sits complements of Eric (the guy I bought it from)

The plan is to rip it apart this coming weekend and re-assemble t-giving weekend.
I have some goodies on order:
Spec stage 1 clutch
Stop-Tech braided brake lines
997 ssk
55w hids
RMS, hopefully ordering the LNE IMS tomorrow if i have time

And....Blizzaks

Barn996 you dont by any chance have the LNE tool kit or RMS tool do you? I am in Manchester, NH 45 minutes away from you...

Logray - you are my hero, dude! You always have your hands on your car on some major project (voluntary or involuntary).
