Default Oil leak! Comments, please.

My beloved '09 996 cabrio has sprung its first oil leak. (OK, second leak if I count the AOS; sorry.) See photo below.

Note oil on floor and small spot of oil on middle exhaust manifold (cylinder #3?). FYI-I took the photo while lying on the floor behind the left rear tire, looking toward the passenger side of the car.

Comments, please. (And please don't say RMS or IMS!)

aos AND or spark plug tube

I know you had the AOS fixed..but that is where the leak looks to be coming from to me..the large spot looks like a tube

is the year right????

09'???
if so no tubes, variocam plus actuator

Take some pictures of the bottom of the engine so that the area where the oil is coming rom can be seen.

I'd agree with plug tubes based on the angle of your photo.

The 1-3 bank chain tensioner bolt is directly above that as well. It's an easy thing to check - just look straight up for a 32mm bolt and see if it's got oil around it.

Default Oil leak...better photo, please

I don't have a proper lift, but I can elevate the backend a bit with my old school wooden drive-up ramps, slid under, and get a better photo. Will do in a day or two.

Just stick the camera in there and fire off a few.
You might get lucky!
