Default HELP!!!! Flashing CEL + Complete Power Loss

Arghhhhhh, so here we go: This morning my 99 C2 had a CEL come on (no flashing yet). It had a smooth idle but sputtered when I gave it gas; almost like it didn't want to deliver any power. What was funny was that if I feathered the gas it would let me get to a point where I could drive the car just fine, but if I stepped on the gas the car would just sputter and deliver minimal power. Anyways, later this afternoon I tried to start the car with no luck. Thinking it was a dead battery I got a jump start and the car started, but when I tried to give it gas I there was almost no power going to the engine. I let the car warm up for another few minutes but still no power going to the engine. Then moments later I got a flashing CEL and turned the car off immediately. I had the car flatbedded home and am now trying to figure out what's going on. It's a 1999 C2 with 28k miles, test pipes & EVOMS intake. Here are the codes that I pulled:

P0300
P0301
P0302
P1313
P1314
P1315
P1319

I'm waiting for my indy's service bay to clear up and will ship the car over to him, but in the meantime do you guys have any ideas on what could be wrong with my car? Just as a reminder, the engine turned over just fine and there was no noticeable rattle of any sort. I've owned the car for about a year now and am not sure if the plugs and coil packs have been changed. From my research so far it looks like one of those could be the problem.

Those codes are all related to misfires...
Maybe check the plugs, coils, leads? dirty MAF?

Hey guys, thanks for the quick replies. My research thus far also indicates that it's misfire related. I guess I just need to see what my Indy says....... Fingers crossed hoping it's nothing serious!

I just had the same problem on my '99. No big deal if it wasn't the IMS which sounds like it isn't. Just replace all the plugs and coil packs. It's a $300ish for the parts and the labor free if you do it yourself. My car immediately purred like a kitten.

I had a similar problem recently. I had been getting CEL, PSM and Abs lights on and off and a surge at speed. Cleaned the MAF, later replaced it. I would clear any codes but still had the surge and lights on and off. Then one day I was driving the car and it lost almost all power. I would barely come off idle, had the lights but I did not check the codes as I suspected the throttle body (e-gas). I took one off my buddies car and put it in mine and the problem(s) was gone. Bought a new throttle body for my car and have never had the problem again. It was a failure in the electronics in the throttle body.

Hey guys, thanks for the following up. It turns out it was a bad mass air flow meter! My Porsche indy unplugged it and the car ran fine. I can't believe that I almost had a heart attack from such a simple issue!

While my car is in the shop I elected to have him do the IMS ($1100 including the upgrading bearing!!!), 997 RMS seal upgrade, new coil packs, spark plugs, and spark plug tubes, new fuel filter, and an oil change. I should be good to go for the next 50k miles!

Uh oh, you forgot the water pump, AOS etc. Glad it was the MAF.

EVOMS intake.
Don't oil it. Oil can damage it or kill the MAF

Ah yes, I need to remind my indy to add those to the tab! The tranny comes out tomorrow morning so I still have time. Thx for the reminder.
