Anyone know of a C4S (03/04) with lower miles than this one? I am looking to purchase this month... Here is the car - http://www.globalautosports.com/car/...dan-36493.html

Impressive! They really want quite a premium due to the low mileage. To ME it's not worth that much. Don't get me wrong it looks great! However, I like cars a little higher in miles than that. With that few miles I am concerned they may have yet to be discovered mechanical problems. I prefer about 40k-50k for that vintage 911.

I recently bought mine (03 C4S) with 28k miles for slightly less than that but it had PSE and some other options I really like. I'll be going for an IMSR at some point but still feel it was worth the premium for low mileage/highly optioned.

The price may be fine for you, too easy to post price advice that might be off the mark of what is happening in todays used Porsche market. Low mileage Porsches sometimes command a premium, but under driven examples may have issues related to lack of use. Do a PPI and a thorough test drive and decide whether this is the Porsche you want for the $. GL

18,850, no way. to command a significant premium on a non-collectible car, it needs to be under 5000 miles.
even then, i am not sure why pay so much for a 996, and afraid of putting mileage on it.

It is low miles for an '03 automobile, but for a Porsche it is not super low. That said, it looks clean but I would not pay that amount unless it was CPO and had more options, but if you can get it for the right price it looks like a nice example.

What about Phil's old car? Is it up to 5,000 miles yet?
