sumi are cheap and do the work, but compared to my Michelin PS2, they are really not as good. if you enjoy driving and don't put tons of miles on your car commuting, I think the PS2 are worth the investment.

since no one asked - what the hell are ya going to use the tires for anyhow HUH ???

oh, was that over the top, sorry....

use is one of the biggest factors in deciding a tire...and price - but seriously the N rated tires are made for Porsche and for good reason. They have stiffer rear side walls to support the added weight of the Porsche platforms. I will be looking N spec tires next time around.... the more I learn the more I find out I am wrong about......If its all the same, get an N spec, that's why they are made

Use will be strictly street. I don't do any Autocross events or anything. Just good for around town and the occasional road trip. I hate tire noise and hate tires on sports cars that look like mud tires from a side profile. I have seen a few where the tread is too aggressive on the outside and it makes the tires looks like it belongs on a rally car. Of course now that I think of it may be they were winter tires on the cars I have seen.

I just bought a set of Sumi HTRZIII. For an all around tire, they are hard to beat for the price. And yes I understand the load rating on the tires. But if you actually look at the load ratings, you will see that the load rating on the sumis is more than enough to support the 911.

It would help to put cost of a set on the poll for each tire.

based on how you plan to use your tires and the things that irritate you about sports car tires, the hankooks are for you. Super quiet, inexpensive and if you move quick you can take advantage of the $60 rebate.

from a "looks" stand point the DW's are a little wierd (tread) the Sumi's "look" more like a sports car tire IMO - they are great, quiet and handle well on wet/dry - we have heard a couple people say they wake up in the morning a little slow (ala out of round) for a mile or 2 and one person who pushes their car to the point of busting shocks said they were too soft....I think they are great and might be right in line with your thinking/use
