Default Harbor freight sale - racing jack $69

Just an FYI for anyone needing a backup jack or even a primary. Harbor freight has their compact racing jack on sale for $69 (down from 129). I had an rven better coupon for less - $59 - so I grabbed an extra for a friend. I've used their lightweight jack for years and it's still going strong. These are both low enough to get under side skirts, but you should use a jack pad (I use a hockey puck).

A bunch of other stuff on sale as well.

I've got one of these and it works just fine. The only minor issue I have is that when opening the valve to lower things back down I've got to be careful as it releases the pressure very quickly.

Agreed it's good for back up or as a second jack. My primary is a Norco. Very good, serviceable but not very portable.

I have one an the only things I do not like is I wish it would go a little higher and it takes a lot of down force to lift the car. My 10 year old can not life the car.. She can do pull ups on it....

last Sunday I picked up a very nice Craftsman floorjack almost new at the local Pawn shop...they were asking $50 and I said "what can you do" she says $40 out the door....SOLD!

keep these places in mind since the economy is slow they have lots of stuff for sale and are willing to drop prices to sell stuff...

I got the 3 ton jack (I have a suburban too)

also ordered a Porsche jack plate from a guy on ebay that makes them right here in USA for $12!

the 86 is EASY to jack from this point...I know the 996 is much lower and harder to jack, those race jacks are sweet...again, keep an eye on "alternative shopping"

don't forget these:

nylon covered sockets, helpful for not scratching wheels.

Nice job. Well done. I have a 2-1/2 ton low profile Craftsman floor jack. Bought on sale, and it was about $185. So far, so good.
