Default Buzzing when cold?

My car has started making a buzzing sound after it starts up. It is coming from the engine area. Only lasts about 30 seconds and goes away once I start driving it. It is a high pitched sound that almost sound electrical. If you have ever heard a bad fuel pump in a Chevy Silvarado it is almost identical. Any idea what it is? Is it something that I should worry about? Did a search but couldn't find any reference to the same type of noise. There is one post with a video that has about the same symptoms but the noise is different than my car's.

This could be your secondary air pump going bad. Next cold start take a listen with the engine bay open and the secondary air pump is on the left hand side of the engine closest to you. I will hunt for a picture.

This is from a previous post on the forum. Not my photo, but the item he is pointing to is a secondary air pump and might be the cause of your noise. Yours may look slightly different.

+1 SAI pump = normal.

Unless it starts to make a grinding or buzzing noise or doesn't make the noise at all.

It should humm and whirr and make it sound like a vacuum cleaner, but not buzz.

It's the squirls under the hood using electric shavers before going out.

I've also notice the same "hum/buzzing" noise though intermittently at cold start up.
Will investigate with open tail hood and see if the air pump is making the noise.
Thanks for the direction.

100% normal if it has a vacuum cleaner sound. It is also normal for it to come on while you're driving, usually right after it warms up.

There's a good thread around here somewhere... oh, there it is:

Normal for the dogs to howl before you let them out.
