Default Coolant leak - need part help

Developed a small leak coolant leak where the water pump connects to the hose. Looks like something hit it on the road. Need help finding the part number for the hose pictured below.

Year and model for your car. There are a lot of versions of this hose in PET.

I think there is only 2 current versions of the hose... Also, when I replaced mine I had to buy a new hard coolant line that wraps around the oil pan which connects to that coolant hose. It was #18 and #32

This is what I got for my 00 c2.

996-106-250-55-M100 - rubber hose
996-106-243-54-M100 - hard line

There is another version but make sure you get the right ones or they wont fit.

The PET listing is kink of confusing. For the -98 it has a part number that when looked up at porscheoemparts.com (Sonnen Porsche) show a superseded number that is not a Porsche number and does not come up (Strange). For the 99- it has two part numbers, 996.106.250.55, which supersedes to 995.106.850.05 and list for $49.37, sells for $30.81. It also has a part number 996.106.250.01 that supersedes to 996.106.850.06. There are a myriad of other numbers for other years. My pet does have a way to look up the part compatibility by VIN number. If you want to PM me your VIN I can check it this way.

Looks like the other version is:

OEM-99610625054 - rubber hose
OEM-99610624351 - hard line

I agree it is confusing. That is why I forked up an extra $40 to replace both the large rubber line ($50) and the hard line ($40) so that they matched.

I have Pet 6 and PET 7.1 and 7.2. 7.1 and 7.2 both have Vin filters. However Charles has sent me his VIN and I used the filter, now I am not sure how to interpret the result. It highlights in color certain parts/numbers but I am not sure if this means they fit or the non-highlighted numbers fit. In this case there are more than one number highlighted and non-highlithted.

How about running a test filter on a known good part, such as the secondary air controller switch? We can compare the known good part number against the highlighted or non highlighted number. Thoughts?

So at 130am I had an idea on how to fix the hose leak or at least a temp fix. The leak is a small hole on the neck of the hose near the very end where the hose fits on the water pump. I thought, just cut the hose above the leak and.....magic, no more leak. Well, that was wrong!!!!! Now I have lost all the coolant to the garage floor and the hose is too short to fully fit back on the water pump. Oh well...time to hit the bar.

Sorry, thats funny and $100 mistake.

I hate to ask but are you REALLY sure its the hose? The traditional water pump leak will apprear to look like the hose, at that location... BTDT.
